Born on 21st June 1959 to Mr.Marimuthu and Mrs. Krishnaveni in a remote village, Pannaikadu nestled in Kodaikanal Hills. In 1990 married Shashikala and blessed with two sons, namely Er. Bharath Srinivas and Er. Srinivas Niranjan.

He has got eleven degrees and Diplomas to his credit, such as M.Com., MBA, FCA, AIII., including his Ph. D. in “Non-Performing Assets in Banks” under Madurai Kamarajar University. He was conferred second Doctorate by International Tamil University of USA. Resigned as a Class I officer from an organization of the Government of India.
He is the founder of M.Karthikeyan & Co., Chartered Accountants, Dindigul, with its branches at Chennai, Coimbatore, and Oddanchathiram. As Chairman, he has established a few educational institutions such as Pannai College of Engineering and Technology, Pannai College of Pharmacy, Pannai Marimuthu College of Pharmacy, Pannai Catering College, etc., and about 30 organizations of Pannai Group of Institutions and companies. And he is one of the members of Tamilnadu Foot Wear and Leather Goods Manufactory and Tannery Workers Welfare Board.
He is a Melvin Jones Fellow in Lionism climbed in the Ladder up to Deputy Governor.
His interviews and motivational speeches have been telecast in TV programs.
Has travelled all over the continents such as North America, Europe, Africa, Australia, and Asia, covering about 50 Countries. Has been titled as Bharath Mitra by Indo-American League, Best Humanitarian, Best Entrepreneur, Pothunala Sirpi, Inakavalar, Sevai Chemmal, Seva Ratna, Iruthaya Pathukavalar, etc., Distinguished Alumnus Award of St.Joseph’s College, where our past president Abdul Kalam studied, was conferred. Awarded many awards from India and abroad, including Tamil Nadu State Award as “Best Self Employed” with 10 grams of gold medal and International president award of lions clubs international, Illinois, USA.
His writings have come in weekly magazines as serial “Ayalnattu Payanathin Aliyatha Ninaivukal.”
His contributions as an author are “Vazhvil Vettri Pera…,” “Ayalnattu Payanangalin Aliyatha Ninaivukal,” Vetrikku 101 Manthirankal” three in Tamil “101.ABCDs….for Success”, and “Gems of Public Speaking” two in English.
Has delivered speeches in India and abroad in various colleges, management, and other institutions, including Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, USA, Village Orchard, Chicago, USA, and lions club of Sydney, Australia.
